First of all Frances you play beautifully!!! Your the only one that plays non-piano tones so we can hear the quality of the other sounds. Like bass drums etc. The c1 air is lovely!

Seems identical to the Kronos main piano sounds. Nice, but always seemed a bit thin to me, and I have a Kronos.

Nice demo Francis. My only question is ,can you layer a sound from the others button with a sound on the favorite button( on the g1 air,that is)? I am interested in the g1 because of its three different grand pianos- something not offered on the other digital pianos in this price range. Thanks!

Earlier this year I had the pleasure to try the Korg G1 Air in your shop. What are the main differences between the C1 and G1?

Hi! The only difference between KORG G1 Air and KORG C1 Air is that G1 Air has over 32 sounds (including 3 of the world's finest concert grand piano sounds ; German, Austrian and Japanese) while C1 Air has 30 sounds. Lastly, G1 Air has USB connectivity function while C1 Air doesn't have

Just to add, the G1 has a more powerful 80watt 4-speaker sound system, the C1 has 50watt 2-speaker system. The G1 has string-resonance, apart from damper resonance which the C1 also has. The G1 can also record longer (45K notes vs. 14K on C1). The G1 also supports more temperament types than the C1, but this probably wouldn't matter to most people. FWIW, the additional piano (Austrian Grand, which is a Bosendorfer Imperial) sounds good and alone might be worth the extra $$$ for some folks.

I.e., quite a significant difference... When testing them out in a shop, the sound of the G1 was way better, mainly due to that sound "in your face" (literally...) The big thing the C1 has going for it is the sleek design when closed.

If every speaker or amp is hissing in your home the problem could be that your electric outlets are not grounded
