Quite a while ago I've just programmed the DS-10 a few times with the 3 DS, really liked it, but nonetheless stowed it away for years but that DSN12 seens to be quite a different caliber! Respect!

I'm confused, is DSN-12 just a synthesizer or can it do the hats, bass and whatnot? I see it loops but is it a single track or can you make a sound and pattern for one track and a new one on another track?
@akaimizu110 жыл бұрын
DSN-12 is a full blown synthesizer which is actually 12 entire simultaneous Analogue mono synths at once. Basically, this one program is doing it all. You can put any amount of them in one pattern and each synth has 3 effects layers that can be applied to them. Yes, the percussion is also electronically generated, by this, as well. Arranged by the composer, of course.

It's only on Nintendo eShop

akaimizu1 so you're saying that it's possible to achieve any sound possible with this 40-dollar 3DS game?
@akaimizu19 жыл бұрын
ayy lmao Within limits of the Analogue synths, I would say. You can produce a lot of sounds with it since it is emulating these kind of analogue sound generators. There's a lot to grasp with it, but you can really get inventive. It is a 40-dollar 3DS game, and these days, you get a lot for that. Software emulation of fantastic classic hardware is a feature that's becoming cheaper where almost all of today's hardware capable of running such without a hitch.

Hats, kicks, snares and all can be modelled with a synthesizer. There is a big misconception that a synthesizer is "used to make those electronic sounds and leads"

Some tips on how you record the stuff out of the 3ds? N3ds plugged in an audio device connected to pc and then audacity? I remember doing like this with the ds10, but probably you have some better solution?
@RangChang7 жыл бұрын
Hi. thank you for comment. your connection method is correct. but I dont recommend audacity because they cant use VST plugins. (EQ, COMP, more) Try it free DAW.(STUDIO ONE FREE, PODIUM FREE, etc..) btw, I using SONAR :) thanks.
@lorenzotosiart7 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the answer! Super kind! Usually I use Reason as a DAW, that s the one I own. So you work your sound a bit with EQ and stuff? But on separate patterns or you record the whole track and use those on the whole audio track?
@RangChang7 жыл бұрын
yeah, Reason is nice DAW :) this trak is one audio REC only. Use effects is Comp and Limitter little.
