Been waiting to see a demo of this. Thank you & thumbs up!

It sounds great and looks quite intuitive and easy to use! You've definitely sold me on it. Can't wait to try it out. Even better now that we can use these in Cubasis & AUM!

Those guitars sound pretty nice. I picked this up on the Korg spring sale and am very happy with it. Thanks!

Yes, it’s pretty good, I think I like the solo instruments best, some really nice samples to play with😊

Cool! I haven't got this one yet. I went straight for Sydney instead. But this one could be useful to me as well at some point. Thanks for the demo, Doug. 👍

A belated Happy New Year to Doug and clan. AUV3 support is massive for me.

Love this gadget and the update! I'm finally heading back to the Korg site for the update list. I have posted about it but have not actually read the update list as it feels like an easter egg hunt trying to figure out the new features. I did buy the vst / au in all the excitement and the export to ableton + vst / au is amazing!! auto maps to push similar to korg nano. dream setup of the versatile ipad with gadget and all the other fun apps for travel with the nano and ableton to finish up with any video synths / mpe on the push.

Great overview, I’ve been waiting on you doing this before committing. Great that you can play in your own melodies and riffs using the single note versions as well as having the built-in riffs. The effects seem good as well - loved the wah! I think you just made a sale for it!

Very nice. Will have to wait a while, but at some stage I’m getting this.

I’ve got Riffler for riffs, I’m more into chromatic playing single motes without the riffs. Nice 80s demo track Doug, got me going! I got the Sydney Loop Sampler which is cool but cannot Automate the start points. I’m a long time user of Gadget and love the classic synths. M1, Arp Odyysei, MonoPoly and of course MS-20. Can’t wait for those to be AUV3 which Korg confirmed as in development. Catch up with you soon Dougmaster!

Yeah, while this sounds good my first thought was that I have Riffler for this. Which as I don't have any Gagdet makes it less appealing to me. At least they've finally moved up to the modern day now.

I noticed on my phone the preview on Sydney doesn’t make any sound. I can’t preview anything I have to put a note down and solo and loop it to preview

I bought Gadget 3 but Santa Ana was an extra cost add-on.

OMG, killing me on all these apps. Endless $30.00 apps and micro transactions add up. ;) JK. I'm new to all this ipad stuff. Been a PC/windows guy for DAW. Just moved away from desktop PC stuff into the likes of MPC One plus, and now, proud owner of my very first iPad. Trying to figure out what apps are worth it and what aren't. The world of Korg gadets vs Garage Band add-ons. Wondering where the best value is? In love with Wavestation on iPad. Might even buy a 2nd iPad just to keep it dedicated to one midi keyboard. So much fun!
@Tmidiman11 ай бұрын
Buy the Gadget add-ons you like only when on sale and over time you’ll have a great setup. I don’t use Garage band, because I have zero control over the drums. That is massively important to me as a writer.
@a.c.750111 ай бұрын
If I could start over I'd get Cubasis, the Fabfilter bundle (Twin 3), Audio Layer and Poseidon for Korg Gadget. Then I'd get some sample packs for drums and bass to load into Audio Layer.

No way to import your own samples then?
@michaelnervOus11 ай бұрын
sydney does loops and samples. Santana feels like a pre-loaded multi sample instrument. the strumming pattern is what you see as a wave and when you load a preset with a single note there is no up/down strumming pattern. sydney reminds me of the rc 505 but also a quick load sample / audio player.

Okay, major problem: I just get korg gadget 2 when i click on the link.
@Mac.Eunique11 ай бұрын
Korg Gadget 3 is basically a huge update to Korg Gadget 2. It’s not necessarily a separate app.
