I screwed up my Korg KR Mini by plugging it to a 12V power cable. It ran for a while on the 12V, but later stopped working. It uses only the 9V power cable.

I have just bought this machine to back myself playing acoustic jazz at retirement Villages. I just want a basic swing beat to help me not feel so alone! I'mconfused about the Chain line - can I ignore it & just play the patterns. I'm too old & not techno enough to programme songs, besides I know nothing about drumming. Any suggestions appreciated. About to purchase a start stop pedal. Thanks for a great video.

Why would an outfit like Korg not include 3/4/6/8 three quarter preset rhythms? I bought one used and assumed that it would have waltz presets.
@Denmarbla725 Жыл бұрын
I have had one for awhile and I absolutely loved the simplicity and even the realistic sounds through a PA system …. But without knowing the tempo until you hit the start button it’s basically useless to use on stage . That is such a shame because I love this little machine EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TEMPO UNTIL ITS PLAYING UNLESS YOU PLAY ALL YOUR SONGS AT THE SAME DARN TEMPO . On the edge of greatness but Korg just couldn’t make that jump. It would be nice also to have one foot switch rotate between fill #1 and 2 , but as it is you must chose one of the fills , A or B .

I haven't got much into the programming but I thought you could program a click in. All in all, yes it is very basic, sometimes to a fault, but a great practice tool.

Just a quick question if anyone can answer, if you make custom drum patterns does the auto fill still work with them, or does it pnly work with pre installed patterns?

How do you program a "fill" or "pattern change" to the second pedal. mine will only activate the "chain" so annoying
@vicentepintadoiborra6959 Жыл бұрын
The new Korg Stageman 80 is perfect. 80 watts of power. You can connect your guitar & mike. Using a Vox foot pedal, you have stop/go, fill 1/fill2 and ending stop.

Hi there, Is it possible to use the KR mimi to play a count in and be able to use the fill-in buttons for the drums at the same time? at the moment if I enable the count in, the fill-in buttons are just drum sounds.. many thanks....Bernie

I just loath mine. I'm a singer songwriter. This doesn't have a good shuffle beat or slow rock beat. And the sounds it does make don't sound realistic to me. I purchased it on eBay and it was listed as a vintage product. I thought I was getting an old school drum machine. And this brand new (overstock?) thing arrived. The programing is pathetic. I'm sad because I wanted to add some drums to my live living room KZbin videos of my original songs. -- Also, I wanted to be a drummer rather than a guitarist, and this junk just frustrates me. Thanks for your video.
