I purchased a Krome EX 61, and put it up for sale after 4 days. Why? The keys - they felt like a £49 Casio keyboard, and I'm shocked that Korg let this go from the production line. With a list price of about £995, it's not a complete budget synth. You may see this comment in other video's. Not because I'm pissed off with Korg (I have a Triton, which is still amazing) but I don't want someone to make the same mistake as myself, and regret spending the money. If you can - TRY IT OUT FIRST!!!

@@vicoycoytv6516 I sold my Yamaha MODX7 for the same reason...the keys are so spongy and feels cheap. I ended buying the Roland Fantom 88...keys are excellent to play on.

I have the Krome EX 73 and love the sounds and interface but HATE the key action on this thing. Cannot believe they have such a substandard key action for such a nice synth. Yamaha MODX 76 key action crushes the Krome EX.

It's more performers/bands multipart PCM synth with 16 track midi sequencer. No audio streaming with computer, no user samples, no audio ins. It is cheaper than MODX and FA (direct rivals), but lacks some features you may need, so do your research before buying.

Yes to all that, and you can even purchase 3rd party PCM SAMPLE sound packs to load into user bank F. Plus, I see that some other users have loaded their own sample sets using Awave studio, and Korg Sample Tools software. It's quite complicated, but that means essentially, you have access to limitless samples!

I am asking why you guys permanently use the guitar sounds??? I never would use the guitar sounds on a keyboards (because for this I play a guitar). It would be miles away more interesting listen the combo modes (drum and bass!) and the e-piano and organ sounds!

Some of the very nice playing, but those supposedly newly sampled guitars sound exactly the same as the ones that existed in my 1995 Trinity Plus! They're also vastly interior to my friend's 2003 Motif ES6. Does Korg really think that we're all Fools by believing that these samples are completely new? Seriously Korg give us a bloody break with your marketing spin! Both Roland and especially Yamaha have the edge in many acoustic sounds, most notably guitars and basses, although Korg do have great sounding strings, choirs and drums.
