Yes it’s probably the most technical capable production machine, since 2012. But the production workflow is a bear to use.

I no longer use the Kronos. I have moved my workflow to the MPC.

Kronos is cool. If it were the only synth I would get used to is awkwardness. But I have other instruments that do certain things better.

ben, thanx for your time. there certainly some useful tips for the NON beginner here. I would level this video as sequencer tips. not basic operation. honestly, the basic operation is so much simpler than how you portrayed it here. lol. as far as ease of chosing sounds, how to use the preference tabs, and how to add effects. way easier. but you did bring some useful tips to the table here. thanx

Thanks for this tutorial. Is this relatively the same for the Nautilus?

It should be but the nautilus. Has a different GUI look. So since I don’t own one. I don’t know it.

What about any sort of piano roll display? Suppose you hit a wrong note or a note early / late, can you manually change the midi data or do you just have to re-record manually?

I no longer have the kronos. The time investment for mastery was not in my best interest. As I use Mpc as my pre production of choice. Sorry I can’t answer your question.

Yes you can edit note(s) or any other data in the event editor. This is only two of the best MIDI sequencers on a synth. The other being Kurzweil.
