Oh man, thank you thank you thank you. Just downloaded all three sets via Reverb. I love my monologue, but I've never been inside an Acid House before so I didn't know what to do with ANY of the factory presets. These are gorgeous and what I was hoping the monologue would come stocked with. Your instructional videos were part of the decision to buy one to begin with, and now I've got a sonic window into your collections - really cool.

Finally found 30 min to play with these patches - masterful work, i love the range from nasty modern bass to retro electronica...the motion patch with the note length/tie mod, v cool!! Thanks for these! what a fun little synth. Very inspiring tutorials and patches.

+Groove Q awesome! So glad you enjoyed them. I'm open to ideas / requests / themes for the next pack (or anything else you'd like to see on the channel!)

As far as the monologue goes i think some vids about incorporating it into DAW workflow, midi clock etc might be nice? Sorry im a bit vague with patch #'s/names but also the timbre shifting motion patches thing is also worthy of more deep diving imho.
@OscillatorSink7 жыл бұрын
I'll have a think on the DAW thing - my one concern is it'd be very DAW specific (you don't actually have to do very much on the Monologue) so unless people were happening to use the same DAW as me (Logic or Reaper depending on whether I'm at home or the studio) it won't be much use to them... I will have a think though because there might still be something worth talking about. Regarding the motion/timbre shifting patches - have you watched my "Hacking the Sequencer for Extra LFOs" video? if not - you might find what you're looking for there. If you have then perhaps I need to make a "Let's Build A Drone" video (which I'm totally up for!).

Love the stuff you do man ..Excellent...Just got a monologue the other week and because of work haven't had much time to muck about with it.. I have a microkorg and love that ... With the monologue I was wanting to try and get that bladrunner cs80 sound ..but to no avail lol

Really nice work, especially liked the twoskwelk preset. Would love it if you could release some minilogue preset packs at some point, even if it is a bit late in the game.
@OscillatorSink6 жыл бұрын
I'd love to, but sadly I don't own a Minilogue and although it's on "the list" of stuff I'd like to own, it's not that near the top right now. But if I see a bargain, you never know!

Thanks! Make sure you check out the other two packs as well (and if you like something a little more weird and wonderful, I also made an official pack for Korg which turns the Monologue into a drum machine!)

Thank you for taking the time to create and share these sounds . It's very much appreciated. They sound great. I just wondered if there was a way of writing or adding your presets onto the existing factory bank. It seems I only have the option of using your custom bank or the factory presets. I don't know how to combine the two to make my own library of sounds? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
@OscillatorSink7 жыл бұрын
+Lewis Oxley yeah, this could be a smoother process for sure, but what I usually do is drag and drop the preset I want into the slot that I want on the Monologue in the Sound Librarian and use the "Send Single Program" feature in the "Monologue" menu. Of course make sure you back everything up on your Monologue first in case you make a mistake. Hope that makes sense (and is helpful), and keep an eye out for the Third patch pack in the next few weeks!

Hi, I just found you as I have a monologue on the way. your patches are awesome and sound so good. I would like to know if you can have all the 3 packs you have made on my monologue at one time or can you only fit so many presets at once? thanks :)
@OscillatorSink3 жыл бұрын
Cheers! You have 100 slots so I think you can just about get all 3 on, but you'll struggle to get the 4th one that I made officially for Korg on there as well I think. I hope you enjoy your Monologue!

Hi there if I may ask a question please. I was just wondering is it possible to break this kind of pack up or load two of them at the same time please. Thank you very much hope you are well
@OscillatorSink3 жыл бұрын
From inside the Librarian software you can load them separately by previewing the sound and then saving it to a slot on the Monologue. That's the only way of curating the patches though really.
