@@IanDixonTDL I hope so. I have the Wavestate module, paired with Roland A-88 MKII . . . my thinking is to swap out modules . . . way easier than swapping gears and coping with the limited space in my studio . . . loving the Wavestate, but scheming for additions in the future . . .

Just got mine and after skimming through the programs, the potential is mind boggling! After being disappointed with my KingKORG NEO purchase (what happened Korg?), the multi/poly has restored my faith in Korg. I'll be looking forward to your custom programming.

KingKORG was made by KORG Japan. Multi/Poly was made by KORG R&D in America.

Yes, I think R&D has all the cool stuff at the moment

Great first impressions Ian, I actually liked that you did this before a deep dive. Definitely hear some great TD sounds in there and looking forward to the comparison with the Modwave. Was the keybed much different to the previous synths? It’s supposedly semi weighted.
@IanDixonTDLКүн бұрын
Thanks! The keyboard is better than the Modwave, it feels a lot firmer to use.

@@garyholden8469 yes, a modwave comparison would be great 🙂

Quite informative for first impressions, could be called a whole review on some channels. What do you think about those Pro and SEM filter models, don't they sound a bit too smooth compared to what they "were inspired by"? I also wonder what you'd do with two filters, tried some dual filter synths, it's interesting but still not sure what kinds of sounds dual filter architecture would be really good for. Made some pads but they don't sound very special compared to what I could do with a single filter.
@IanDixonTDL2 сағат бұрын
I am still getting used to the filters but I think you can make use of dual filters with LFO and motion sequencer switching or fading between them.

This unit has 6.3gb storage available. It's absolute tons for just wavetables... right? I think Korg left an option possible to introduce sample import in the future ... or what else? There must be a reason to implement this much storage from the start...
@IanDixonTDLКүн бұрын
I think the memory is standard on these Raspberry Pi powered devices. You are right it could fit a lot of wavetables in it.
