That low register with open filters - it is really shooting sparks. A lot bigger sounding than you think just looking at the controls. Also really liked what you got at 6:00!

Great demo, thanx! I’ve got one, too. It is a great sounding machine, esp. those many single oscillators. It gives it a sound somehow reminiscent of acoustic instruments, where each note can have its own fine pitch deviation. I also have a PE2000, which I consider superior regarding overall sound and presets. The PE2000 has three oscillators in total, and consequently octave dividers like e-organs. This sounds completely different to the PE1000. But the 2000 also has that gorgeous phaser on board! The 1000 features that traveller filter, though! Both together are a great combi!

Nice input! Would love to have a go on the PE2000. And yes, I can agree on the part where it almost sounds "acoustic" But, one thing that amazed me was that, eventhough it's vco... 60 of them it doesn't go out of tune? 🤗

It wasn't mine, a customers. But I'll ask him if he would be interrested. I would be the one doing the mod. 😊

When I heard "Stay"from Justin Bieber, I immediately went to my studio to power my PE1000 up. after a few minutes my gut feeling was right. He used a PE1000 for the main lead ;)
