@@r27501 I bought the Poly 61 (no M) from a dude in Canada just before they shut the border because of Covid-19. It sounds wonderful. The stick is damaged, but I think I can get in there and fix it. Yes, I love the 80's sound. Take care, Sam.

@@donaldjones6454 YES! It can be fixed! But it's somewhat expensive (as you need to change the CPU PCB) or VERY time consuming if you can (and want to) fix the traces and the few components affected (an no warranty it will work, while CPU board change is kinda garanteed to work, unless there's other issues with it elsewhere).

Korg DCO is just as analog as VCO, just kept in better tune. Tone generation is still analog.

@@cs20m What do you mean can't be the same? I didn't say that they're the same, I said that a DCO is still a fully analog tone generator. People think DCO means a digital oscillator, which is completely incorrect. A DCO is a TRUE analog oscillator.

@@mfbeatz Nice! The Mother 32 is a beast. I'd like to get a Matriarch one day myself. Keep an eye out on your local ads for the DW-8000. They're quite plentiful and I seem them on my local Craigslist for very reasonable prices at least a few times a year. I got mine on LetGo for $100 in mint condition with a gigbag.

Well, I think we all have done that and many us, like me, several times over. If only we had crystal balls to see the future :) I remember seeing the Poly61M at a music new brand new back in 1985. I dreamed about having one, I was 16 years old. I was dirt poor. $1,100.00 to me back then would be like $50,000.00 to me today!!
