The lone sheep appears to be stunned by this towering Volca-Mod stack.

This is awesome! I love my Volca Modular definitely got me into modular synthesis in general.

Yeah! Volca modular is very small. However, you know, you can fully enjoy the fun as a modular synth. This equipment has a puzzle-like fun. Have fun!

This sounds really noice. Delay is Bob on, it’s very clean. I’ve seen lots of vids now where 2x Modulars are used and it’s impressive how much more you can do with a pair. Keep up the good work.

That's just beautiful! It's really nice how they interact.

I just watched your video today! Woggle is an interesting function, but one v.modular has one woggle system. Even if you apply woggle to FOLD or FUNCTIONS, the same movement will occur. However, if you have two volca, you can apply each other's woggle to each other, so more random control is possible and it is interesting.

@carpe diem Hey cool! I'll get another Modular soon, I can't wait to try it out. There's so much more potential with the envelope functions, too. I should probably pay more attention to the woggle, only sometimes I use it for triggering functions. The other day I tried feeding and triggering the woggle with the mod. oscillator but you only get a very quiet audible wave from it. It adds some noise, though. Another thing I'm excited about is using function 1 on the first volca to generate a square wave with the trigger output and function 1 on the second volca to control an LPG. Nothing groundbreaking but I prefer function 1 for the LPGs because of its sustain.

So beautiful! I am having a difficult time getting ambient sounds from my volca modular, just getting glitchy noise. Would love a breakdown of one of your ambient patches to know what the secret ingredient is!

Congratulations for having achieved beauty from Volca Modular. 👍 A very welcome change from what most KZbin uploaders seem to do with it: make horrible tin can noises.
@RobbekenSynthMusic4 жыл бұрын
True that. This is one of the best examples I’ve seen yet!

Fortunately (unfortunately) volca modular makes it easy to create noise music. (Of course, I love noise music!) However, the reverb built into the volca modular is certainly awkward to use. It sounds like banging a can.

Well, I happen to like horrible tin can noises, and other gawd awful sounds ;-) But I love this too.... now I want to add a second V.Modular to my rack. Thanks for sharing.

dear sir, this has to be the coolest stuff i came across for a long time. i read the comments carefully as i am a total beginner to the volcas and the modular world, i am a dinosaur in ableton and other stuff, but this is soooo appealing to me..... i read that the volca modular is the _only_ volca that can "communicate" with another of its kind? so two (or even three?) modulars can be hooked up together (as in ur video?) i am total into ambient stuff and would love to play around with a modular and a fm or a keys. i have place for 3 of them, so what would you consider? is it more fun to have 2 modulars and a key or a fm or would you get just 1 from everyone? thanks very much for this beautiful video, its the only one i could find of two mouldars at the same time!!!!! what a sad thing!!!

i may have to add: what you would say - how big is the benefit of having two modulars? is it a big thing, or is just a nice little addition?

did you make the stand or is there a place to buy it from? looks awesome and I really like seeing how two volca modulars work together :)
@carpediemMusica4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your attention to my video! I made volca stand myself. It was easy to make because I just cut the MDF (medium density fiberboard) and paste it with adhesive. Volca modular is the only one in the volca series what the same model can be connected to communicate signals. random signals and so on communicated with each other in this video.
