It would be an awful lot of fun but there are some really big let downs. Loop recorder doesn't have an ''Undo'' (stack 30 sounds, the 31th doesn't sound right, you can't undo that mistake. Start from scratch again.) Also, with the iphone app available - there's close to no reasons to buy this physical kaossilator. Source: I owned one.

Just found my KO-1 in a box yesterday. fired right up after sitting for a few years. Love this thing for just messing around.

I wish Korg would create this version of the Kaossilator in iOS form and I mean exactly, with all the KO1 sounds and the gui looking the same. In short an exact copy of the KO1. I’ve tried the ikaossilator and I much prefer the KO1 😊 Unfortunately my KO1 has been played to death and it has developed some faults. It only plays single notes on the x/y pad and some of the presets make no sound now. An iPad app of one would be great as I have really got into creating my music on the iPad and to be able to marry up a KO1 to the Korg Gadget (which is also a big favourite) inside AUM would be brilliant!

Hi Korg, I've had a KO-1 for quite a few years and I still love it. The only thing is, last week I set it to a certain scale and ever since it won't allow me to actually play different notes on the pad. I've tried all sorts to get that back but all i get is that single note wherever you touch the pad. Is there a way of doing a factory reset please?

just tried turning mine on after years of not using it, wont turn on. fresh batteries and no corrosion inside, switch is fine too. Died of unknown causes. RIP.

Yes. It’s not a digital exchange of data, just a sound source you can plug into your computer’s line in.
