Nakita at napanood ko si Gary sa Carson California, ang galing niya very energetic talaga kahit diabetic pa sya, like him I'm also type 1 diabetic at naka insulin pump din. Kapakanakabik ang mga masisilayang mga magagaling na ballet dancers na hinubog sa pananaw ni Madam Lisa Macuja. Salamat at bukas sa mga may pangarap na masundan ang kanyang husay ng mga tama lang ang estado ng pamumuhay. Sana may madiskubre na galing sa payak na pamumuhay paris ng kanyang dinanas sa Russia, kontento sa 3 suot , mamuhay at gumalaw sa simpleng paraan nang isang batang susunod sa yapak niya. One of the best laugh out loud moments in my life was Liza's rendition of Ryan Cayabyab's song "Chismis" during her recital at the Meralco Theater, especially that part of the song when Ryan says, "siya...ay....na..." then a pandemonium of hilarious chatter so typical of a group of chismosas breaks out. I've been a fan ever since.

Professional dancers say that if you want to be the best dancer there is, learn ballet. Coz ballet in singing is like the classical/theatrical singing is when it comes to dancing. Ballerinas can easily dance whatever they want but hiphop dancers cannot easily learn ballet especially if they're already old and not flexible. I haven't seen Ms. Lisa Macuja dance freestyle dancing but a perfect example of a ballerina who dances modern dance is Winwyn Marquez. Ms. Macuja should become a national artist. Sya lang ang Prima Ballerina ng Pinas I believe.

I was able to watch Liza Macuja and her group in Intramuros around 1997 or so. I was then teaching at Letran and serendipitously I saw a posted information about her performance. I made it a point to watch it as I am a frustrated ballet dancer.
