I don't know about pedals, but you could try turning the mids and lows up on your amp and play around with the highs a bit. Also, strike the stings fairly hard with your fingers

As far as technique goes, most of Fieldy’s stuff is pretty basic. Mainly what separates it is his tone and style. I honestly think that the only hard thing about his playing is the timing. But, hardly. If any of you out there haven’t been playing bass for very long, I’d definitely recommend snatching up a few songs to practice with. If you can read sheet music or tablatures, even better! I think I had “Coming Undone” down in 3 days tops.

Robert Hardy his sound is totally based off of the fact his bass has active pickups. thats the whole point of Nu Metal, loud clicky bass. youre either addicted to it or hate it. i personally am addicted to it like fieldy.
