The difference is this is content and filmed with intent. Full songs in high quality. Not some afterthought by 90% of the other phones flipping around in the crowd recording partial moments and selfies.

Both sides have a point, but many are using it for their personal sefie-fame or whatever, otherwise we would've a shitload of videos from this performance here on YT. It should be filmed properly (amateur or pro doesn't matter) with just a few cameras in the first place anyway, while most of the audience could lay off their phones and rock out at a great performance from Korn for 1-2 hours.

@@davidpearson6346 Dude why are you freaking out? I've explained that I can understand both sides and that they both have a point. But yeah it's too much to ask now. I've been going to concerts since 98 and tell you that the shows could be much cooler without phones, because I can compare now to then. There's still amazing crowds today though, Slipknot in Nimes this year for example or the Obscene Extreme Festival that I visit yearly. OEFs venue is close to me and Korn played there in 2012 at the "Open Air Festival". Chill, it's all good if people enjoy the shows, I still do as well :)

He's fine when he sticks to the groove. But his overplaying and fills are so at odds with the nature of the tunes. They absolutely detract from the groove of the old songs. The fills here in particular and added triplets are utterly pointless. He has the tunes he's involved in to show his chops. He's a great drummer but he just needs to be more minimal in the older stuff.

not at all! he over plays the songs 90% of the time. he is a great drummer but does not have the imagination and grooves that david had. you can tell from all their music put out since david left, the drumming is basic fills and rhythms

There Ray goes overplaying an old KoRn song again lol.. It actually ends up sounding a bit off and not as technical as the original... Example 1:48-1:50.. A really unnecessary fill there

Yeah not suitable in my opinion and more objective he completely missed the 1 on the next beat. David did had his weaknesses as well but I know Ray can do better. It is as if he is bored and unattentive playing the slower Korn songs and does stuff like this that ends up sounding shit.

Ray is a great player. Better than Dave as a drummer but his over playing is a little annoying. It zaps the groove from some of these tunes. Can never understand drummers of his quality that dont understand that.
