They remind me a little bit of Rush, and a lot of Opeth and No Doubt. Their influences are definitely wide and varied, and I can certainly imagine how you could hear Korn and Meshuggah in them. Tati's ability to switch instantaneously from cleans to growls is a lot like Jonathan Davis.

@@raz0rcarich99 the reason I created this channel is to engage people outside of their typical/existing musical tastes through these short live experiences. The engagement through the comments are like this and sometimes it’s a brawl, but it’s just what happens when crowds are mixed up - the newcomers and the existing fans clash and I’d say that’s normal. The full clips of my recordings though, they never have these comments lol - only the artist fans watch those so the comments are always nice.

Old Arch Enemy in 144P in black and white just sh*ts on so many other experiences. They were great, but time moves on. I would say this group dabbles in a fine line between radio metal and backpack metal, they’re very accessible but they don’t get a “purist” fanbase like more extreme bands like Napalm Death/Meshuggah/Cannibal Corpse which are bands that NEVER got radio time.

Bands like Meshuggah and Korn sh*t on bands like this. Jinjer are the kind of group that make music for kids of the new generation. Far too many musical influences so you can’t put your finger on what genre they are to begin with. Experimentation is one thing but they over do it big time. Hence why they’ll likely always remain well known but not ever reach big dog level. Those who argue this are either brand new to metal in general or just don’t have the stomach for the real stuff.
