This takes me back to 2000. I played this song at a talent show in High School. They allowed me to finish; but afterwards I got sent to the principal's office; for singing"violent music". I showed the principal the lyrics; and he called my mom. My mom explained to him that I suffer from serious bouts of depression; and that I was trying to vent out my pain. Well he was adamant that what I played was violent; to which I fired back with, "So it's perfectly cool for students to rap to Murder Was the Case; but it's not ok for me to sing a song about begging for help? Got it." I got suspended for three weeks for that. Best vacation I ever had. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you KoRn for helping me find my voice at that early of an age. As a matter of fact...thank you for always being there.

This is how I feel about life a lot lately. Going back to college at 31 and having to isolate yourself to study insane topics while over the years most of your friends have died or are to busy care or lost contact. It's hard to meet people when there are more fakers and takers now than ever. People want you to be someone you're not and I refused to pretend everything is okay and good cause its not and I won't be satisfied until I get what I want out of life or I am dead.

I know your pain , my mom left me for an old friend who used to do drugs with her in high school and I can’t stay with my dad because he was shot dead in Afghanistan in 2006 when I was 2 . So I have to stay with my grandma who happens to be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s desease

Shay Mary I just have major childhood abandonment issues that began to surface in the midst of a relationship. They came exploding out of me after I found out my girlfriend cheated. It made me realize how fucking HARD it's going to be to reprogram my brain back to normal (like it ever was lol..) Music is seriously the only thing that's held me together.

This song really.. Really hits home when i was 14. Look i never listened to korn before .. But now listening to this band and this song in 2024 for me, This hits home when i was 14 -16 where i never got my chances to have anyone at all.. No guy, no anyone. I had once given a crush a love letter with codes... He never asked me at all, nor responded to it. I had an another time i tried confessing the other crush in high school but he tells me hes taken by a friend of mine... I sort of felt betrayed but yeah that friend became an ex friend because i... Guess i was upset abt it and later told other ppl abt it. Then she tells me to 'grow up' I also remembered a lot too with my first crush that i tried to hang out with him but idk how to interact with him or get along bc damn i was an undiagnosed autistic gal. Eventually i never got noticed by him despite shyly trying to get close to him i guess. I wasnt... Good at groups nor people. Which it was why its super hard for me to have friends . All this shit ive been dealing with was due to how hard it is to find somebody and all this time i keep thinking im ugly as hell. Im ok jow though, im just scared on being intimate and vulnerable with someone but om also in between of wanting someone loving me just for being me. And yea this song hits home so hard ive been feeling this . i dont think theres anything called true love. I think its just... Bullshit. I wouldnt know since i never had a relationship in person.
