Finally someone that can sing live like in the original recording. That's extremely rare in these last generations since technology's blossomed with vocal enhancement equipment used in studios. These real vocalists impress the f**k out of me!

Still listening, I was disappointed that JD didn’t get to do the vocals for the Queen of the Damned movie I was stoked when it was announced that he would do the soundtrack.
@static.2663 ай бұрын
@@guy1902he did perform these songs that he wrote for the movie, they’re in the movie! He was not contractually able to feature on the released soundtrack album so had the following to do the vocals in his place: David from Disturbed, Chester from Linkin Park, Wayne from Static X, Jay from Orgy and Marilyn Manson.

NOTE: The haunting Middle Eastern sounding violin music in the movie and soundtrack is the East Indian music composer/musician L. Shankar. Shankar is the one that wrote that haunting music that the Gypsy Woman played with Lestat Called: "On the Beach, Lestat's Violin"

@1malakian Not a duet. Jonathan Davis wrote and recorded a bunch of original songs for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack, but due to contract bindings, he was unable to release his version via the movie's soundtrack. That being said, he had some of his rock star buddies come in and do vocals. David Draiman did this one.

@SlaughterMeister14 жыл бұрын
@nj239 He didn't "give" it to Disturbed. Because of legal issues with the soundtrack of QotD, different singers were hired to sing Jon's songs for the official soundtrack release. David Draiman was the one hired for Forsaken.

I think that's cool. David Draiman is a really sweet vocalist. He serves the song well. I sometimes actually can't decide which version I like better. I am personally a little biased to Jonathan Davis, but I can see what you're saying with this version. I like it in the Sound Track version where his voice is a little smoother, but I love the instrumentals in this one, it's like we can't win... lol
