I absolutely LOVED what Munky said about how tough it is to hand their riffs and ideas to a struggling Jonathan, and excpext him to put it all together with his feelinfs. Shows how much they care for one another. This band is definitely a family.

@Dr S4T4N Been A Fan since I was 11 years old, worked for 14 bucks to get the first album from a gas station CD rack Went to Family Values tour, seen them with it was just Monkey,fieldy and John, then seen them again last year with Islander and Stone Sour, I remember not being able to afford there tour shirts, so I would silk screen my own korn gear!... Sorry Korn did what I had to do... like I said they are a big part of who I am, love what they are, were and will be.

@2020 Did I say the other members of my favorite band are _not_ talented? I've been a fan since before you were probably born.
@scramblesthedeathdealer4 жыл бұрын
They're all very talented, and all a huge part of Korn's sound. It's too bad about David, he was very iconic in Korn's early sound, but far less than the other 4 members. I feel bad saying it, but I think he was the most easily replaceable of the original members. I just saw Korn a few weeks ago, and Ray kicked ass, I wouldn't have noticed the difference on the old songs, and it was a phenomenal show all around.

Oooh wonderful. I really dig these peeks behind the curtains...! I especially love this synergy of Head and Munk :D Also yeah, you really hear that "The Darkness is Revealing" is the first song they wrote, I feel like songwritingwise, it has so much Serenity of Suffering in it. Which is a great thing - because of that and because of the really home-hitting lyrics, it's by far my favourite song off the album. But yeah, the other songs are more experimental, but "Darkness" has so much from what I loved about SoS C:

There is a part of me that I've been ignoring my whole life, tempting me to give in and let all the hopelessness and grieving swallow me. But I also want to mend it. It takes a journey to realize the real challenge is forgiveness, helping those who need emotional support. And accepting what you are in this world, even if you feel like the ugliest thing. The world isn't as dark and hopeless as 'the nothing' wants you to believe.
