Andrew is a phenomenal player, his rendition of Beibers "Passagalia for unaccompanied violin" is undeniably the most beautiful version ever recorded. A real treasure.

Firstheard of Andrew Manze on a Mozart CD where he presented a fascinating analysis of Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. Imagine my delight when, as a Baroque fan, I found out that he primarily specialised in the Baroque violin! This is a great presentation, improved by his warm and personable nature.

to reply specifically to the 43, not 41, 41 is the mirror of 14 B=2 A=1 C=3 H=8 so the sum of 2,1,3, and 8 is 14. Bach then mirrors that to 41. Apparently you can find these numbers (14,41) all over the place in his works.

Look, I'm a sophomore comp student I don't have the brain power or the patience to start some bs intelectual debate. I will say however, assumptions can be made providing the whole BACH signature theory reappears, then the likelihood of it to be true is greater. And as a final whoop-de-do, I must say: (and i'm quoting the great sophomore comp student myself here) If humankind never searched for anything, never made assumptions (wether right or wrong) then we wouldn't exist.
