Korra was sooooo in tune with the Avatar state it was crazy. Like Aang loses his connection to it, but whatever, he barely even wanted it in the first place. Korra has been living in the Avatar's skin her whole life because it was obvious from day one with her. Much bigger deal when she lost that side of herself. Pretty much her whole identity up till that point. Strong character.
