On a 5.88 (shut off 5.1 seconds into the run) the bike rolled over on the left side and then made a turn into the wall. View from back and side.

This video is proof for all those that think it's relatively easy going fast in a straight line on such a powerful machine, that it takes great skill and not anybody can do it. Spectacular save btw.
@bangpaf23289 жыл бұрын
Lucas D It's just harder when you implement corners, especially when you have a hairpin after a mile long of straight. It gets even harder than you need to repeat the process about 30 in the race. Without crashing. But with practice and will, I believe anyone can do it.
@MegaRussell127 жыл бұрын
in any kind of road racing the vehicle is set up for handling smoothly and allowing the driver to finess the track. in drag racing handling takes a back seat to speed. anything drag racing is set up to be at the very edge of its limits. you only have to keep the car under control for a few seconds. in a road racing setup you want to lay down laps as smooth and consistant as possible. you don't want your driver counter stearing and having a hard time keeping the car or bike on the track just to save a few tenths of a second. bottom line... compairing apples to oranges.

A wreck is that one video where the bike keeps rolling into the sand pit while the driver rolls down the track only to stand up after his last roll. Search for it on youtube here: Top Fuel Harley racer Beau Layne has wild crash in Seattle
@korryhogan15 жыл бұрын
A “crash” is a noun. Definition: 1.a violent collision, typically of one vehicle with another or with an obstacle. Guess all you people expecting me to hit the pavement are sorely disappointed but the description is accurate. I did indeed, “crash”. You can now go back to complaining/boasting your “internet intelligence” to people who don’t find it any more interesting than I did.
