Did you ever notice how they seem to sense you’re watching them, and they just happen to look directly at you right when you zoom in on their face (even from very far away)?! I’ve seen this happen on many different channels, either their eyes are amazing, or they must just sense the direction it’s coming from.

@@GreatApesZoo that’s what I thought. I don’t recognize this enclosure. I do however recognize at least two individuals which is confusing 🥴. Now I must admit that I haven’t consistently watched primate videos this past 8-10 months so I’m not really up to date with the latest. Is this a new enclosure or another Zoo or what? If you don’t mind my asking of course 🙂.

I'm just curious, if she has a new baby here why is her bottom still swollen? don't they get swollen behind when they are in heat and want to get pregnant?

Although rare, there are several similar cases among chimpanzees living in zoos. This does not seem to be associated with ovulation. It may be a pseudoestrus similar to bonobos.

Damn old chimp got a baby, she has to be 60 and old male dominant chimp bout 50,but still has it as he got that younger female chimp
