I was deciding between the M118 and the M83 but I got caught up in the lust with the newer one because it looks so good, but being REALISTIC in my soul, even against the W-King(s) I chose the M83...thanks big dawg

I have the m83 now it's was great while it lasted.. my advice to u is always use a good charger if possible the one it came with only.. do not use it while charging, it harms the port bc of the bass.. DO NOT use a quick charger it will fry it.. that's why I just ordered the m118. Micro USB is trash on this device. The new one has type c port which is alot better.. longer lasting. Quality wise the m83 is a beast and looks better with the rubber coating finish

Grab another 83 and pair them together & you won't need any other speakers. I have two and they're amazing especially outdoors. Even beats the volume of my single jbl boombox 3. Which is an over $300 speaker. Got two M83 for $100 it was a steal.

The biggest difference in the two wasn’t even brought up. The 118 is water proof ipx7. The 83 is shock resistant and water resistant. I’m sure the lack of tweeters was to keep price down while maintaining ipx7 waterproofing. Depends on what you plan on using your speaker for!

I have both side by side now, and the m118 is build better, is bigger, has a USB C charging port compared to the micro USB port on the m83. The sound is fuller, more bass and has more impact. I found myself enjoying the m118 way more.

Just bought both on B Friday 2022 ($39/m83 & $43/m118). The M83 has better bass, smaller profile, usb-a slow charging, no auto off. The M118 noticeably less bass, louder, significantly bulkier/bigger, usb-c much faster charging, ext. mic. M118 just doesn't sound as good & worse thing is, it auto shuts off after 5min = you keep having to turn it on, wearing out that button.

M118 has punchy mids and pronounced yet tight bass which makes it a very good speaker at high volume

The M18 is fantastic at high volumes. In an enclosed space, the amount of Bass that it produces is absolutely fantastic. If I could sum it up in one word, it would be "delicious" haha. 😇🌎☀️

First off, pretty nice packaging, they got all that wrap around it, and around the accessories etc. As you said "Very nice" looks like its build pretty nice, maybe not the most durable speaker around here tho. I mean the speaker is bigger than the older version of it, is it better quality tho. Personally I'd say it looks like it is, looks nicer than the older version of it. As for the sound, it's like A LOT better than the older version In my opinion, I mean just hear it. A lot deeper and more bass, and doesn't sound as cheap at all. At lower volumes I'd say the older version is better. Sounds a bit deeper and not as cheap. But like overall I still like the new version, seems a bit more thought through and looks better. And ya'll remember this is just my opinion on the speaker/speakers that I got from the review

The m118 is pretty awesome. It lacks mids and trebles, but with the larger drivers and enclosure, it will produce some pretty deep and clear lows. It makes a great gift for bass heads. 😊🌎☀️

The M118 has no tweeters and you can hear the difference clear as night and day. Leaving out tweeters was a big mistake. The M83 sounds much clearer not only in the treble but also in the bass frequencies. Thanks for showing underneath the grills and the in-depth review!

IT actually does say not to use speaker while charging in the booklet. There is not much there, but it does say not to do that. And then, the M icrophone port might come in handy when.....

I just opened up the 118 and i was not impressed so i took it apart and stuffed it will polyfoam(from a pillow) and it sound awesome! The bass is about 10x what it is without the foam. I suggest buying the speaker and just stuffing it with polyphone if you want more bass it sounds like I have an 8" sub in there in a ported Box. It sounded good before I did that but just barely any base.

5 volts I believe. It works just fine with a 1A power source, but a 2A supply will generally give you more overhead. 😇🌎☀️

Great price, But the tweeters were missing on the m118 and it does not support TWS. Overall, Still a good value for those who dont mind hearing the mids and high. I would buy this for outdoor activities.

None, The updated wking d90 is another option they have upgraded the firmware. No Tws I am just as baffled as you as to why they left that important feature, They might be reserving it for another model in the near future. Like a much louder version of it. The tweeters were a deal breaker for me. Still, Good speakers and thanks for your subjective review of the product.

The m118 will work well with almost any charger but it helps to make sure that you get one with at least 2A supply. The M118 will limit itself to about 1.16A from a 2A power source. 😊🌎❤️

I have this speaker. It’s ok. Mids are its strong suit. Bass is ok. Retains bass and clarity at high volumes. Don’t spend over $60 for this speaker. Also, if you have the M83 then don’t bother with the M118. It’s not really a upgrade, at least not sound wise

I have been playing with both bugani m118 and m38. M118 definitely hits harder in the bass department and is just slightly louder than m38 to me, but treble is missing on m118. I believe the M118 has a slow charging port, (output) on purpose to extend the life of the internal battery. It might cause your phone to turn off because it's thinking that it isn't getting enough power. 🌎☀️

Use better music. The sounds you use sound like just noise. It's upper trebles only with the base as a kick rather than a steady reverb. It's virtually impossible to tell sound quality with this
