hi george i had same problem with insurance they call walking a luxury! so they wouldn't pay for this and so to much money for me on fixed income so i sit in wheelchair and scoot around the house like that and to all reading this don't get sick cause everything for disability is alot of money and they sure make money off of us with disabilities! george keep going your doing great buddy since last video i have seen of you!

Hi George: Did you ever get them to pay for the Bioness? Cigna denied mine too. I thought of sending them videos of me with my first terrible brace that I fell and cracked my elbow in. I have anAFO now that is almost identical to the one in your video. I tried the Bioness L300 and it worked great. I want to get it badly. I was very active before my stroke a year ago. I'm now 52. To them it's not medically necessary but to me it is physically and mentally necessary. I was just wondering if you had any advice for getting insurance to pay or if you have a website or blog where I can look?

of course it is medically necessary - but they use that excuse for purely financial reasons because they're in the business of trafficking patients out of care centers. Like I told them, they should be confined to insuring secondhand cars, not people. The sooner the system gets dismantled and rebuilt, the better, based on care and not business. Regarding the device, my daughters organized a crowdfunding via a remarkable group in Florida called "Freedom to Walk" do check them out, as I now have a Walkaide which works the same as the Bioness but half the price - I'm very pleased with the product and I'm sure you will be to :-)

U will get there u r doing well for getting out of a chair I had a mojor stroke and I am like u I am waiting to try the device u r walking again with if only people mew what we r going through keep going 🤗
