Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today we're back in Zeepkist for more themed track builds! This episode the track theme is "BOXY" and I built a track that alternates between ice and asphalt to create a very unique and weird driving experience. Did I mention extremely hard? xD I built an invisible shortcut path into the track to complete the metaphor that I was going for so as always let us know in the comments below who built the best "BOXY" track and I hope you enjoyed watching this as much as we enjoyed playing it!
Thanks for watching the video! If you enjoyed it, make sure to like it, share it with your friends and give me your feedback in the comments below!

As someone that has gone through multiple phases of severe depression, I love that metaphor. It is so true, but so hard to learn how to handle these situations on your own, and once you figured out your path (which you don't see in the beginning, but take time and sometimes help to figure out) it becomes manageable. It's pretty much a perfect representation of the perspective, perception and the path of depression, which is hard to explain realistically to a person that didn't expierience a "real" depression (putting the " in there, because people often confuse sadness with depression) Great job kosmo

If feel that even the part about turning other players off is in some way relevant. Even with help you need to find the way out yourself and not blindly follow what others say. As for sadness (or sorrow) and depression: Being in mourning is something completely different, it is an external thing, you know why it is there, and you know that life will turn around. You still want to do all those things you did, but just not today, not until you have dealt with your feelings. Depression however, is the lack of feelings, you don't feel sad, you don't feel happy. You just keep breathing one day after another.

i love the metaphor, as someone with plenty of experience with depression i can confirm all of this is accurate, probably could've added some fake more noticeable cheeses to show sometimes there are ways you think could be a cure that are more obvious when in reality they aren't and you just have to keep looking for the true solution that is often hidden from sight the fact that you have so many people playing the track as well adds to the metaphor, showing that many people struggle with depression, and nobody is alone in it

A really neat build idea I think. Is if you all spend 15mins building a track but not putting an end or finish on it. Then you swap builds with each other and work on their track for 15mins, allowing yourself to extend the track or make the intended start now the middle of the track or whatever. You do this until everyone has spent 15mins on everyone else's track. Then the build goes to the original creator of the track to authenticate. :3

As someone who is depressed, humor is the best way to handle it and deal with it, so imo you should never have to apologize for joking about it My belief is that the people who get offended by depression jokes are people who use their depression as their personality, so by insulting depression they feel personally attacked, I guess

I wouldn't say ADHD is a mental health issue, it's just that your brain is different than a (nero)typical person (I have autism), a mental health issue is something that can be fixed, versus being nerodivergent where it is a part of a person, something to be accepted not shamed

Love this track, and the metaphor. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for about 30 years, but I only actually realised that about 15 years ago. Coming back to the metaphor, and the video title, in my experience, there is no "cure" rather, depression and anxiety are illnesses that you need to learn to live with. There's definitely things that you can do to make it easier to live with. But there is no magic bullet.

Yeah, that's why I prefer to say "my depression is in remission", because I think it better acknowledges how it's possible for it to come back, and that the wise thing is to be watchful.

I don't mind depression jokes, it's the jokes about "curing" depression that I kinda hate. But this was actually a really good metaphor. The "cure" only works after a difficult journey, and it's as simple as trying something new instead of getting stuck in the old patterns you've been doing. But it's also invisible and without someone to tell you where to go or show you how they do it, you'd never find it and be stuck sliding along the depression track until you eventually make it to the end. Wasn't expecting the depression joke in the title to actually go deep with it, well done Kosmo!

I'm well acquainted with depression, so I'm not making light of it, but I can't help but reinterpret the metaphor as, "if you have depression, drive off the road, and head towards the white light." INB4 someone says that's messed up: Go away, a dark sense of humor is my coping mechanism.
