Thanks for sharing this video with us. I have same problem with my 323i . It's a poorly designed system that you should not have to fix. I honestly have had junk cars with less problems than I have had with this car.

For I it was one of the wires,brown with red stripe it was pinched/cut near the trunk latch switch, repaired wire fixed problem, I had the same symptoms 0 volts with bulb on measuring with multimeter, no bulb on 12volts measured with multimeter.

I got exactly same problem. I remove Trunk Lid Grip with Key Button assembly and find brown line above 200k almost broken. maybe this will be root cause

I was having headache bout this why it’s not turning on after I replace it. Come to find out after u take out the light 💡 both side clean the area where the 💡 goes with a sandpaper or small knife just to get them junk off it’s like them white stuff usually on the car battery (water mark) something like that I think be careful not to break it good luck

wire resistance too high, water leakage into Trunk lid grip and damage 12V electricity wire. I fixed it by myself recently.

tak. rozwiązałem go w ten sposób, że wyjąłem tę skrzynkę która steruje włączaniem świateł i połączyłem ze sobą dwa kable. dzięki temu prąd zaczął płynąć na tablicę. niestety nie wiem już który konkretnie. na forum bmw klub albo forum bmw sport pisałem o tym problemie. nick mam tam haxigi, więc poszukaj moich postów ;)
