So eternally beautiful. He captured the melancholy, sadness of the original song. Christmas is supposed to be a happy time, but for many, it is a season of unbearable poignancy. How amazing that this song was written in an hour by a 21 year old George Michael. That this master guitarist chooses to play this song speaks volumes about GM's talent. Miss and love him. Always.

The notes are easy to learn but the fingering techniques he used is really tricky. Especially the subtle "nail attacks" and the tap harmonics at the end part.

It's been years since I've touched this song. Even did a cover of it on my channel. I'm much better now lol But I learned it all b/c I had a crush on some girl that I knew for a year. I made the cover to show off...clearly...but unsuccessful. A few years later and I find myself in a relationship. I gave my heart and soul to her. But that wasn't enough. We were only going out for a year and month. This song has never touched me more deeply until now. I'm relearning it =)
