omer suleiman I don't rate por at all. A large part of battle rap is delivery, I don't care what anyone says. That's why Khan has so much love but Khan is overrated. He's too basic. Por on thr other hand is decent but he makes jokes but says them very aggressively so people don't know how to react. His delivery is confused garbage but if he sorted that out he'd be alright.

He mentioned it before, in his first 2 battles he thought it was still off the top only, once he understood the recipe to keep hitting and have the crowd, he kept climbing, mixing the jokes that hypes the crowd and vicious bars for the Hip Hop heads. When you find a formula for anything, your first thought is to push it higher, but Soul Khan, being smart, puts only enough so that it hits the strike zone most of the time and gets proper reaction.

This vid is immortalized in my brain of the Do’s and Don’t’s of battling. Porich had an easy win, his opponent choked hardcore. And in his whole following verse, he doesn’t reference it *once* in a rhyme. Just throws out a weak “Nice choke by the way, ᵇⁱᵗᶜʰ” once he’s done. Man the whole point of a battle is to point out the other’s flaws, you’re given one the size of a city block on a silver platter, and you don’t use it? Honestly I think that’s just as bad if not worse than a choke, shows a complete inability to improvise and play off your advantages. And then of course there’s Soul. He takes his two biggest weaknesses in this battle: his colossal choke, and Porich’s best bar, and combines them. making a Coleman reference that perfectly rhymes with choke, and making it about Porich’s mother? It was like the bars were gifted to him by the battle gods, as both redemption for himself, and retribution against a man who was given an easy grand slam but ended up hitting himself with his bat.

Round 1: Draw (Definitely debatable (was kinda more towards Soul Khan but not by much)) Round 2: PoRich (The Choke really made a difference in that round) Round 3: Soul Khan (Got his shit together and Killed that third round) Decision: Since the score is 1-1-1, I would judge it by the Overtime round OT: Soul Khan (Without question, Khan killed it & PoRich's lines weren't as good as they were in the first three rounds) So overall, I have it 2-1-1 & Soul Khan as the winner, I personally think they should have gone to the OT before they made the decision, but since Soul Khan bodied the OT, I ain't mad at the decision *Note: a lot of people say that Khan lost because he chocked, which is bullshit. A choke will only cost you the round not the whole battle, rap battles are judged by the rounds so you can still win a battle 2-1 if you chocked. With that being said it you also need to consider how well you recovered and how well your opponent did in that round
