I've seen this in a few other things I follow. Competing channels will pay services for dislike bombs in order to make it so your videos will get less views and show up lower in results etc. Hiding the dislikes and likes until the other party loses interest is the only real way to combat it.

This battle is solid. That’s the best Math Hoffa I’ve seen in a long time. He was talking some real shit to someone he respects and wants to see better themselves. It shows my age but Real Deal had me cracking up at work with that “Savage in the bed - princess bride” bar. It’s been a while since I’ve watched an old school feeling KOTD battle and this was absolutely stellar to come back to. Good job all around guys. Only constructive criticism I can offer is that I was staring at both dudes back most of the battle when reactions to bars really helps convey how nasty they were. Watching Mike Tyson right hook someone is better than just hearing it, ya know?

Hoffa’s spoken-word style was inventive as fuck and he played with it well. Real deal copied it and didn’t do it quite as well, yet excelled with bringing his own flow and style. He had more “OOOOHHH” bars. My biggest problem with Real Deal continues to be just obscure or filler bars that really aren’t that impactful. Hard to say who won
