Joey I agree with you, I want Cassius to have a redemption as well! He at least deserves a chance, but it won’t excuse his actions. As long as he repairs his relationship with Keefe and apologizes for all his wrong doing, I think he is in the clear✨✨✨

I feel like a lot of us forget Brant sometimes. I mean, he died in book five, and hasn't been that useful in the series ever since. BUT, as Joey pointed out, the things that he did in those five books were pretty evil. Let's face it, there's no redemption arc for Brant. Though I have to admit it, I did laugh at the infamous 'I guess this means no more custard bursts,' line 😂 Also, I think we've come a long way from hating the Sofitz ship, to hating Fitz himself, ngl but he is a good character and while he did say some horrible things to Sophie in Book 1 and Legacy, he's not this evil villain everyone thinks he is. Oh wow that's a lot of words😅

He also blamed Sophie for Aldens mind being broken in book 2 saying there was a problem with her mind.

Even though Umber only appeared in one book, I think she was the most evil character in KOTLC, though she is not my least favourite. She tortured Sophie and Fitz with shadowflux badly in Flashback, enjoyed doing so, and did not even try to hide it. Umber even said that she had always wanted to break a Vacker, so she was ruthless enough to torture Sophie in order to get to Fitz. Unrelated, but I wonder how she could revel in other people’s pain without her mind breaking. Elves literally cannot handle violence without their minds breaking, and yet there is no explanation to how she could do this. (Similar to Gisela, though I think explanation to Gisela is more important) Maybe female minds are stronger than male minds?

Yes you could be right but my friend had this theory about what if the ancient elves lied about this to prevent elves from doing bad and so because its easy to stop people from doing something once they fear something but ik what your thinking what about alden and so on idk maybe it has something to do with telepathy??

I think her being a shade would be a bigger defining characteristic than female, nothing as such has been hinted in the series (unless I’m not remebering please correct me)

My least favorite character is probably brant too. Also don't forget Emery is the Council spokesperson so a lot of the stuff he says is probably the other councillors opinion

I think Bronte still has good qualities, he’s my favorite councillor and reminds me of Snape from Harry Potter. He’s just se mean and irritating, but it’s hilarious to me😂✨🫠

I think that Stina is a useless character. Her only character trait is being annoying and hanging out with Marella, Linh, and Maruca. Those three are amazing and powerful and Stina is…not. For Team Valiant, the only reason that she is on the team is because they needed an Empath and the Council doesn’t trust Keefe because of his Mom (even though he is much more powerful than any other Empath).

I agree, but one thing I wanted to touch up on was that Keefe wasn’t on the team not just because his mom, though it is a reason, but because he ran away to “betray them” (in the councilors point of view) but I guess it’s kinda the same thing because his mom is with the never seen and he ran away for that but yk

She also still could have gotten her match lists because she would be ruthless enough that if her mother/father wouldn't tell her who her human parent was, she would torture them for the information. Just a small little thought...

See I agree with most of these but I still like Fitz more than a lot of other characters. I know he’s been really mean to Sophie and other people but that doesn’t automatically make one of my least favorite. But he’s definitely closer to the bottom than some other characters.

To be fair, I don’t think Fitz deserves to be on this list. Or any of the Vacker kids. They were all held to high positions and sorta emotionally stunned, specially Fitz and Avalar, they both were unintentionally set up to high expectations that lead to some shit emotional problems and maybe some identity issues. It would make sense that Fitz has anger issues, because how else could you manage your emotions without realy knowing how? Not to mention for most of his childhood he was running around in the human cities trying to find a girl he barely new And imagine the teasing he gets, for all we know he could be really effective by it. And I stand by the fact Sophie and Fitz were unintentionally toxic both ways, nothing can change that. But that’s my opinion

Honestly I think Vespera should be there instead of Lady Gisela. Lady Gisela loves her son which she showed in book 8 by letting Sophie(who was her enemy) leave to save Keefe. Vespera tortured innocent humans and showed she is plain ruthless. Although she joind Sophie in Stellarlune, she did it because it benefit her, and although she died, she still was evil

Fitz is WAY to hated He made mistakes, and so did Keefe. Bro, KEEFE RAN AWAY TWICE!!! Everyone likes Gisela cuz she is well written, Fitz is well written too, but everyone hates him bc of his personality when Lady Gisela’s is even worse! He lied to Sophie, but she lied to him all the time and never told him anything. She even lied to him about trusting him. He has anger issues, and that’s honestly normal. Each character has a way to cope with grief, and Fitz’s is anger, just like Biana’s is isolation and silence, Keefe’s is falling into a pit of self pity, and Sophie blaming herself for everything cuz it kinda is her fault most of the time. He only lashed out at Sophie because she told Keefe everything before she told Fitz. He just wanted her to trust him, and she couldn’t even give give him that So, think about it

I actually like Stina. She reminds me a little bit of myself and I feel like I would want to be friends with her, Marella, Maruca, and Linh because they kind of remind me of me and my friends. It was nice to hear someone who doesn't hate Fitz, though, because I don't think he's a bad character. I just think he's kind of annoying. I honestly feel kind of bad for Brant, though, and I feel like he has a lot of reasons for what he did. I'm not saying he was right, I'm just saying I understand why he did what he did. I totally agree with most of these, though!
