@@ogghoul1511 Kiritsugu is a well-written character, but I hate him. I cannot digest this character and his unattainable ideal. His dream, the Hero of Justice, is so flawed that it has devastated not only him but also his entire family. Iri was also mentally a child that she believed in him and instead of focusing on the family. And Emiya had doubts. Kirei summed up Kiritsugu well and his disappointment with him. A child's dream. Conflict is the engine of development. It is part of life. Thanks to this, we become better and worse at the same time. Kirei gave everything to be like Kiritsugu and be able to love his wife and child. Because that was what he wanted to make love and find joy. Kiritsugu had everything that could make him a happy man and he rejected it. He turned into an empty man, such as at his own request. I can understand Kirei's Satisfaction when finally the "hero of justice" got what he wanted, and in return he only got the hell of his worst nightmares, which he created himself. Now I feel much more sorry for Kirei than for Kiritsugu. I'd like to see him on the good side as an anti-hero. He would be a very interesting character. Because who is better? To be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort? It would be easy to reconcile his reign with his work. Let him torture sinners. It gives them the same suffering they caused their victims. The second option is to become a dentist. He would make children suffer by actually helping them. And those who avoided it would suffer even more. xD
