Oh yeah, he repeats this same Baptism rite, although I much prefer Kirei's original version because Amakusa doesn't recite the complete chant, and he just didn't say it with enough emotion as Kirei does (Ironic ik because Kirei has no feelings haha) but overall i think it was a badass way to deal with Vlad so i sort of liked it.

Edit: I was finally able to see Heaven's feel spring song in my country, and I really think they did justice to this scene on the movie, it was very well portrayed. Although I still prefer it in this Visual Novel format it was very well made indeed in the film!

Personally, I think his other interludes go harder (like the one around day 10, he ground his flesh and bones to find a shred of goodness in penance but it eluded him, the entire thing goes hard). It’s a nice combat scene, but all Kirei scenes / interludes are great in terms of character.

Nah it was nice seeing this scene animated but it’s better here since Kirei’s prayer is longer and Zouken taunts him more. Plus church on the hill is the cherry on top during this scene.
