KOTOR2 (LS) 138: Fallen Jedi Atris

As "the last of the Handmaidens" enters the Academy, her sisters confront her. Now the blood kills the blood...
After Atris punishes the Handmaiden for breaking her oath, I arrive at the scene. I confront Atris, who is clearly fallen to the Dark Side.
Atris admits that she brought the danger to Telos in order to lure the Sith, but she doesn't want to walk on the light path - instead, she challenges me.
Now Atris tells me where Kreia has gone. I learn that Kreia seeks the death of the Force and that she is prepared to sacrifice herself...

This is a really important conversation in the game, and one a lot of people overlook. People read "Kreia wants to kill the Force," and completely ignore the rest of what was said (*especially* the dialogue after the successful persuade). The entire point of the game is the Exile resolving the echoes left by Malachor. Kreia orchestrates this, and orchestrates her own end, since she, too, was in many ways created by Malachor. This is the "sacrifice" Atris talks about, and Kreia herself confirms it if you ask the right questions before your fight with her. There are other interesting parallels between this dialogue and the final dialogue with Kreia - there are many, many similarities between Atris and Kreia (in fact, one of the cut endings involved them switching places as the "final boss"). The depth of writing in KotOR2 is fantastic. I really hope Chris Avellone gets another chance to write in the Star Wars universe.

You gotta credit Kreia for convincing Atris about her hypocritical attitude. That couldn't been easy.

Atris' history is a tragic one, really. She used to be a strong and flawless woman, but the disappointment and pride brought her down. Sad. It would have been so interesting to have her in your player party.

@rainbowwesley There are three Sith Kreia mentioned, and she is the third Sith - she's been studying the Sith holocron and eventually fell to the dark side, although she didn't admit it until she met Kreia. You can either slain her or let her live. Because it's the Light Side walkthrough, I let her live :)

@beobrandt The secret container? i beleive if you go to korriban and you go down the entrance hallway, near the place where you meet yuthura there is a rodian who asks you to get spice from the ebon hawk, after that he asks if you want more work and if you say yes he gives you a container to take to a hutt on Tatooine (he says it should never be opened but you can do it) its in the ebon hawks storage room where the spice was...hope this helps =)

On a random note...has anyone ever opened the secret container you get in KOTOR1 that you have to deliver to Tatooine? I love doing that part =)

Yes it's one of the most surreal & fun moments in KOTOR. I've shown it in my KOTOR LS walkthrough :D

I usually play LS Exile but at this scene I always choose to leave Atris to the Sith holocrons. Very satisfying.

I was really worried that I won't find one randomly, but in this walkthrough I found it on the Ravager from the Sith Troop. It means I may swap my costume before the final battle, like I did in the DS walkthrough :D

Atris does not fallen to the dark side, she is the light side. Instead, you can't fight her. Why would you do like that?

1:10 that's why a male exile is so much better than female. if you play female, you get that annoying scholar guy instead of brianna.

I read somewhere in the official narrative (as canon as can be with Legends Content) that they both followed her.
