So if your base is Naxos can you do a day trip here or one needs to spend the night or from say paros

I know that there is daily boat tours from Naxos to Koufonisia. Also there is a ferry from Naxos to Koufonisia. You can go there early morning and turn back to Naxos with the latest ferry.

But i recommend you to stay at least 1 night in Koufonisia. It has peaceful night with local cozy taverns and bars.
