I first got to know Yamadera as Mew from the first Pokémon movie. Yes, that was a grown man with a normally baritone range doing those cute "mew mew mewwws"! Then I found out about Lugia and Ryoga Hibiki. And finally got into Super Robot Wars and got hit with _A TON_ of roles: Abelt Dessler, Gyunei Guss, Hokushin, Kurama Wataribe, Spike Spiegel and Tochiro Oyama. That's probably not even all of his mecha roles! Years later there's also Cora-san.
