Personally, I don't care if an Ouroboros Enforcer even outclasses either one of these two. The fact that two protagonists finally go at it against each other is probably the best part for me.

+chris jongusuk (gearkungkub) Hard to say since Estelle/Joshua's story got some closure in Ao no Kiseki, but considering how the overlying story ties them all together they could easily come back, too.

It got closure in the sense they accomplished their immediate goals (mainly saving Renne and stopping the most out of control Anguis and Enforcers) but they still swore to stop Ourouboros back in Sky while improving their Bracer skills and considering the Phantasmal Blaze project (which involved both the events at Ao and Cold Steel 2) is still running and will have a major part in CS3, I wager they'll at least cameo on the game. If anything to lend a helping hand as guests or important NPC's.

So staffs weren't kidding whey they said that Lloyd and Rixia are acting as an antagonist when it comes to a story flow for Rean's side. Darn.... They could've have done better than that is what I would say over and over lol. And whoa, Rean is working with Altina? Then again she was kinda worked for Rufus to begin with, so no big surprise.

Incredibly late answer I know but what exactly IS lacking? Rean is working for the Intelligence Division to make sure the war with Calvard is as bloodless as possible and in the eyes of Erebonia, stopping Calvard is paramount,and for that they NEED to have Crossbell on their side. And since Crossbell shot itself in the head with all that happened in Ao, Erebonia just swooped in and took control. As much as Rean wants to "cheer on the little guy", what Lloyd and RIxia are doing is nothing more than squirming around waiting for the right time to weaken the government that is currently making sure Calvard doesn't razes Crossbell AND Erebonia into ashes. In a sense, Rean is fulfilling his duty as Erebonia's proclaimed hero (as both the Emperor and Osbourne informed that HE was the saviour of Erebonia), his priority is protecting Erebonia's citizens,and that means stopping Calvard, and anyone who associates with Calvard's forces (which in this case IS Lloys and Rixia, who are seen obtaining information from Calvard informers when the chapter begins). All of this is better explained in the epilogue and Rean even shows that he'snot entirely comfortable with it.

At this time, Rean does this due to mission from Intel Division. He later becomes an instructor of Thors at Crossbell so that he won't be a puppet for Empire. Had he stayed as he is.. would've become what that Ironblood tells him to do. After all, Ironblood thinks everybody including himself are just a pawn for his master plan. Meanwhile, Lloyd and Rixia are acting on their own will. Heck, he even says he is jealous of them. That's the reason: he's a puppet at this time while Lloyd and Rixia were acting on their own.

Gaiden is done, there's only the epilogue/extra dungeon which will wait. The boss at the end is just color swap of last game's

Rean can fight them without too much problem (or at least he don't seems to break a sweat) without his ogre power or Valimar, and that's just in CS 2, he will be a monster at the end of CS4 Oo

Hmmmm i never beat chapter 2 on ps3 since right around the time i got it i got my first ps4 so i stoped playing it... But Im planing to get the phisical copy ove every chapter anf i allready completed my 2nd playthough on the ps4 ver of chapter 1 so ill wait for this 28th to see this in english..

Jimbobob5536 Trails of Cold Steel II. it just came out in the West. If you're going to get into this series, they're all connected so I suggest trails in the sky I and II then pick this one. They're also bringing the game that takes place in this epilogue to the states and Europe as well, but I understand why they localized cold steel first; it seems to put more of the pieces together in regard to the previous Crossbell games. If you've ever played Suikoden on PlayStation, it's similar in the way the games are all connected

@@beezusHrist i will eco you but you dont half to play trails in the sky you cant start on cold steel its the events of trsils in the sky thst lead up to cold steel and trsils in the sky give away many hidden plot points of cold steel too.

@@demonlordotrt754 Whoa, this comment is from two years ago Trails in the Sky takes place 2 years before Trails of Cold Steel and Oliver is in Trails in the Sky AND an important character in Trails of Cold Steel so it would behoove you to play it first. Trails of Cold Steel spoils Oliver's identity as it takes place after Trails in the Sky. You figure out who he is in Sky, but you'll know exactly who he is once you play Cold Steel. Also, the characters of both Trails in the Sky and Zero no Kiseki are in Trails of Cold Steel III which is coming out this fall so I would also recommend that you play Ao no Kiseki and Zero no kiseki which have been fully translated if you have no qualms about piracy. I'm not sure what you're referring to in regards to Trails of the Sky spoiling things as its it's the VERY BEGINNING of the series and Cold Steel is its continuation. You're meant to know the events of Sky before playing Cold Steel. This is how the series should be played : Trails of the Sky, Trails of the Sky II, skip 3(even though I own it still), Zero no Kiseki, Ao no Kiseki, Trails of Cold Steel, Trails of Cold Steel II, Trails of Cold Steel III(In the fall) Trails of Cold Steel IV(Someday)... The Cold Steel series keeps upping the ante so I'd save it for last and it WILL spoil the earlier series and if you only play it, you won't get the world building that is provided in the previous series. The world will feel too small in my opinion. It would be like Playing Suikoden game in the same setting over and over again which would be boring. These games are so great because they explore other regions of the world and build the world up.

Lloyd and Rixia infiltrate the Geofront in order to backup and wipe sensitive information from the orbal interwebs. Rean and Altina came along with the plan to stop them. They talk about meaningless stuff such as Rean having a tachi just like Arios and things like how the orbal network is so important and how Rixia and Lloyd can perform combat links. Pretty much.
