The bond between a mother and child is so exponentially strong. There are times that a child would rather have less with mom than have more with anyone else. We never saw the relationship between Blake and her mom. And honestly Ro is more important to Mike than Blake is in my opinion. He could've easily had Blake move in with him. It's his daughter. He used Blake to stay connected to Ro. Bet he won't be sending 💲💲💲 to Jacksonville or taking trips to spend time with Blake. Blake moving but you still have Daddy responsibility.
