Jada loves her parents, and she is not a disrespectful teenager but made a bad teenager decision by running away. I love that she went somewhere where she feels safe; however, she does need to be reprimanded for leaving the house without her parents knowing. Teenagers are not adults and make crazy decisions because they lack emotional intelligence because of raging hormones and their age. Hopefully, this is a learning experience for their family. As for Wayne 👀👀.

It’s called extended family.Wayne stays in his friends’ business. They know that and are generally putting up with it. When Blake ended up with no mom, Wayne went to Ro for help to keep her out of Foster Care. Together they stepped up and he and Rolanda finished raising her. When Jada couldn’t handle her parents arguing she went to Wayne’s house where she knew she would be accepted and safe. When DC couldn’t make enough money to keep up with his child support Wayne gave him a job with an inflated salary that changed DC’s standard of living so he wouldn’t need to be embarrassed by not being able to provide for his child. Wayne makes his friends his family. So yeah he does sometimes overstep boundaries. And yeah he needs to better hear what DC is saying, respect it, and step back a bit. BUT DC needs to appreciate having a man like Wayne in his corner, especially when it comes to the safety of Jada. He’s not considering some of the other places she could have gone, but she trusted her safety at Wayne’s house.
