They should've went 1 more round but it's the fact that they went against older bboys from the 90s so you have to bring it really really good to impress the judges !

it's easy to be influenced by a really strong round, especially if it's at the end of the battle.. but if you judge the battle round-by-round, which is how battles are judged.. it's extremely close. i thought crumbs took the first round easily, moy tied the japanese guy in the second round, and the japanese kid took the third. it comes down to preference for the second round, but i can see why the judges would pick moy. anyways, this wasn't a robbery. if there's a problem, it's the round-by-round system that's at fault.

it's funny to read all the comments.. it shows how little many of you know about bboying. this battle wasn't close... monster took it easy... japan didn't get smoked or anything but they didn't come close enough to even consider a tie... weather you judge round for round or overall, monster had more quality in every aspect.. style.. musicality.. foundation.. flow... originality... they had more moves and had power... many people maybe wanna forget machine's round because the power was short... but it was good enough to show it's there.. and clean.. shigekix was longer in power but lacked in every other aspect.

fine. Crumbs: backrock body threads and sweeps... i mean.. watch carefully and see the details.. he sweeps and threads in ways nobody else does.. nobody, not to mention he's on beat. he didn't crash at all, wasn't even sloppy, and check the transitions original, smooth and pretty difficult. The point about crumbs' round is you can't even name the moves he did.. because they are his moves and he executed them well, they were on beat, and they are difficult, and they all flowed together. can't even tell if it's freestyle or set.. because it flows well like a set, but it's executed on beat and with character, like freestyling. yu: good footwork, good footwork techs, backdrop lotus to thru. not much on character, no musicality, the round was about half the length of crumbs' round, which also shows the difference in flow between them. so overall, good execution from both, but yu lacked in content a lot, lacked in presence, originality. so as i said earlier...
