The Metropole Orchestra has again been nominated for a Grammy Award in 2023. The Dutch orchestra has a chance in the Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album category with the album Olympians, which was made with Vince Mendoza. The music company is also on the nomination list once again, but as a performing artist in the Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals category. The nomination goes to arrangers John Beasley and Maria Mendes for the song Com que voz. The Metropole Orchestra has received more than twenty nominations over the years. The prestigious award has been won four times, most recently in 2020. Last year the orchestra missed out on a Grammy.
