Mr. Skull makes sense, as the song is mainly centered around the vocals which are very human (+a duet! - I hope I'm spelling that right - a very feminine voice offset by a deeper masculine one) and the electronic direction is more or less left behind to go for a more organic direction with the instruments. Another element would be the drums / percussion which are easy to follow as they're 4/4 at 100 bpm The track also makes use of a pop structure with a "catchy" (arguable) chorus and overall is very smooth flowing with transitions that are not abrupt The bass guitar (in breakdowns and along with other instruments such as the piano in more intense sections) is played with swing adding to the warmth (for me)

So damn catchy, so damn good. I've always wanted another Koven EP, and damn is the first song good. The bass and the beat, the snare and the instrumentals, those make this song so good. Katie's vocals fit this song worse then others, but she still does a good job. I think the male vocals might be Max (I think that's his name lol), and he's good. Overall, one of the catchiest of the year. 8.2/10.
