Sumaho's understanding of Pac-Man setups is unreal. He was ready for everything. He used the hydrant better than Tea did. He caught and used the bonus fruit several times. His counterplay to get the health pellets was phenomenal. I've never seen a Ness player look this comfortable in this matchup before.

@@nathanlevesque7812Not everyday you get to see a random Ness player beat one of the best Japanese players. It's happening for a reason, ness is broken. Broken dash attack, aerials, and PK fire negate his bad movement, his recovery is decent and can be mixed up, disjointed aerials to make up for low reach, and he's a MIDDLEWEIGHT.

@@ragames7320 his dash attack is not broken first of all, unless you have very good spacing it will barely do damage to you, his aerials are good but it's extremely easy to counter by with good spacing, and I don't even know what you mean by pk fire negates his bad movement. His recovery isn't bad but it definitely isn't amazing, and you are correct about him being a middleweight. Ness really isn't overpowered, you just don't know how to fight ness.
