Αρκεί απλώς βέβαια να ξυπνήσουμε και να το συνειδητοποιήσουμε . Μακάρι τι να το πω. Το φετινό τραγούδι εν μέρει κινούνταν στο ίδιο μήκος κύματος ως προς την εικόνα που ήθελε να προβάλλει, ως προς την αισθητική του ήχου όμως, όντως πιστεύω ότι μπορούμε να δουλέψουμε για κάτι καλύτερο. Και αυτό το καλύτερο είναι αριστουργήματα σαν και ΑΥΤΟ !

It's actually a play with words. In 2013, Greece was having big economic issues. In greek, we have the phrase "θα πάρω καράβι και θα φύγω." It directly directs to "I'll take a ship and leave." but, we use it as a way to say "this sucks, i want to leave." So basically, they're saying they're having a hard take and want to go to Grevena, which was not hit by the economic problem as badly as major cities and islands. Hope that helped:)

Maxime T it's not free but we have this thing, that if you order quite a few drinks in a bar, you will at some point get shots for free and it will be on the house. As a way of saying "thank you" for getting wasted here and spending your money in this bar. There's also special occasions (like birthdays, promotions etc) were we go out and treat each other with shots or drinks and get wasted, so you could say that this song can be about that, but by all means alcohol is not completely free 😂😂

Came here to rewatch one of my favorite Eurovision moments, only to read that Agathonas is no longer with us :( I hope he passed knowing that he brought a lot of joy to a lot of random people. I loved this song for being sung in Greek first and foremost, and for how lively and original it was, while still being simple and authentic.
