The tanjiro/nezuko deck is very consistent and strong. I think what it lacks in too end power it makes up for with always being able to do what it dose. If any of the top decks have a slow ish start. Then they get swept by the bro/sis combo consistency.

I think the tengen deck is underrated been doing testing and it can pressure really well into decks especially into slower setup decks. The tengen promo puts in a lot of work. I have the inpsuje 5 cost in my list to help push for game

The Tanjiro and Nezuko list is really fun, but 12 SRs in one deck is pretty expensive for something that's not even tier 1.

Knowing this deck will be $60 tops a week from now once presale prices normalize feels a bit unfair to call it "pretty expensive". Also obligatory reminder that we did see a Gojo deck top 8 the largest NA UA event to date so holding on to tier lists as a strict truth is not always the best approach to the game.

2 APs are very rarely worth playing in Union Arena for a list of reasons and both of these miss the mark quite a bit. If the red deck was faster like Ashford Academy a card like the 4/2 Inosuke could be good, but it unfortunately falls under "win-more" category given he dies at the end of the turn.

Anyone know if the 4 raid tanjiro lets you raid 3 drop raid nezuko? It says play rested but can you play it as raid which unrests it. Or can you only normal play it. I can’t find any answers to this online.

It would need to say "or raid" like Neon does from HxH if you could Raid it. Keep in mind you don't have to play the same Nezuko immediately that you got from Sideline but can instead play another one from your hand and set up for the next turn.

I’m sorry but using the 1 cost bounce cards in aggressive decks like the red Zenitsu deck is detrimental to the early game plan. I would rather use the 2 cost active generator like Nezuko instead for little to no tempo loss

It's to replay the filter card to increase consistency of the deck overall - a key theme mentioned throughout the video as these are meant to be lists to help new players get into UA. It's also worth noting that this deck is not nearly the same aggressive red that we've seen out of Ashford Academy. You can also use it to get value out of the 1-Inosuke late game to create another 4k attacker which is important for this deck overall and hoped to give players another small combo to play off an express player sequencing with.

I see where you’re coming from. It’s just different deck philosophies as I also wouldn’t run just 8 0 costs but the idea is that you run an enormous amount of 1 costs so you only need to see one. While I would even run 12 0 costs because I want to be going second, playing the two bodies then next turn immediately pushing both up for immediate aggression and that can be more easily achieved with a higher 0 cost count. Getting to the raids isn’t as pressing for me as I also run finishers like the 4c2AP Inosuke and the 5c2ap Kyojuro to guarantee damage.

But like you reiterated, these are beginner friendly decks so certain concepts would be lost in translation considering there’s only a small summary for each deck list.

@ maybe I’m misinterpreting them but they all say a (combined total of kagaya or “other” hashira affinity) which to me indicates it won’t count itself towards the count

As mentioned in the video I really dont think there's all that much difference between the 1.5/2 I call out, but instead wanted to highlight that both ashford and tanjiro are both decks that are a bit overlooked right now for different reasons
