Nice, thorough process. Not sure about the ceiling sub needing that much gain though, but I seem to recall you saying you'd turn it up on the amp at some other time. For this kind of calibration, I'd run a more detailed scale on the Y-axis, otherwise you might be lulled into thinking you have a smoother response than you do. Most people I've talked to prefer 5 dB intervals rather than 10. But in general it shouldn't matter too much. Also, after you find a delay that you believe is the best, you want to measure across your seats as well. The goal is after all partly to ensure uniformity across seats, not just the most summation in one seat. I've experienced massive uniformity issues with what was the flattest response for my main seat

I was talking to my friend Daryl about the Stereo Integrity HST-18 being Dual 2 Ohms, he said it's possible to make it 4 Ohms depending if wires in Series or parallel but need 2 Woofers. I think easier and cheaper to get their Subwoofer Amps and install it on the Box. Otherwise Amps like Emotiva Mono need 4 Ohms

So if only 1 Woofer has to be 2 Ohms. I think they have Dual Voicecoils too

I'd suggest Actions > Alignment Tool over picking and choosing delays.

As someone who's tried both, sometimes the alignment took gets it off. It might be a phase issue with my non-rectangular space, it might be because of my choice of measurement positions or seating position, but for my current setup I get a categorically worse result if I rely on the alignment tool over manual tuning. Other times the calculated aligned response has matched almost exactly with what I get at a different delay, kinda confirming there's a phase issue screwing with the timing. Always measure afterwards

@@TokeBoisen yeah, the Alignment Tool is just the start of manual tuning. You should tune base on phase at the MLP, giving you more SPL to start with, before verifying and throwing that into EQ. Done right, alignment tool is fine to start with.

A problem here is that pretty much all the frequencies under 40hz are being reproduced by ONLY the Rythmik sub,the other 2 are really only contributing above that. You may find yourself running out of headroom with only the single sub reproducing all the low end content. As I said previously, you likely will get better results by adding some low end boost to your dual 15 DIY sub BEFORE integrating the 3 subs together. Pretty much ALL sealed commercial subs have EQ /DSP applied to get the freq response relatively flat.. including your Rythmik

Getting low end back from the other 2 subs will come down to placement. I know they dig just as low but maybe not where they're placed. Which is my next mission off camera now that I know what I know with REW

Unprecise. Use REWs own timealignment tool. Gives you the exact ms delays per sub in relation to the main speaker furthest away from you. Guides online REW Time alignment tool.

I'll have to try it! Never used it before
