Aurora was changing many vocal lines in this concert, and by doing so she sang her lowest note since quite some time: 38:09 ("howling") is an E3. She used to sing Eb3 in "Infections of a different kind" on the 2018 tour, but she skipped that note on the current tour when she sang that song.

Thanks so much for posting this. As an older fan it’s always amazing to me that I can simply go on KZbin and watch concerts that I was at. This was the third time I’d seen Aurora and was the night I met her (I was there for the previous night too), which was just amazing. She was so, so lovely. And the gift she accepts at approx 46.49 where she says “I wanted you all to get to know each other” was from me. 😊 I loved both nights so much, and met such wonderful people. Aurora - both her music and Aurora herself - has made such a difference to my life this last year. I just wish I’d discovered her much earlier, but maybe I needed her more at this time. She’s just the best thing. ❤

Oh thanks for uploading! I discovered her just recently like week before it and yes, checked if I could make it to Oslo but I didn't. Haven't seen every live video of her, but can't wait to watch all of them! That's interesting: My first impression as I heard the first song, (not Running with the Wolves I had heard that somewhere before) : Yeah that could be me free improvising, but I wouldn't be able to recognise the melody to sing it again. So funny to find out: she is actually improvising and changing the melodie while singing! ❤ 😂 Of course not because she can't remember the melody, just because she is able to! Can't wait to find out more about her! Hope to be able to see her live one day.
@kpeecee2 жыл бұрын
@Beth Spring when you eventually get to see her, you are actually going to a unique gig because she is constantly changing the way she sings each song. I also tried to get a ticket for the Saturday gig before this one. She won an award and they surprised her on stage to present it to her, wish I would have seen that. In this recording she talks about it in between DAYDREAMER and A POTION FOR LOVE. Unfortunately she is speaking Norwegian. You can find this presentation though on KZbin with English subtitles. Hope you get to see her soon.

Why would one watch Aurora crowd recordings? First of all, thank you so much, because this is a truly amazing recording with excellent quality. But second - how does she do that? I have seem quite some concerts, have even seen one concert of the current tour in person, but it seems that every concert is really unique. Not only does she change the setlist all the time, but even with the same songs, they are different all the time. Just listen to "a temporary high" - I doubt that she has ever done the first verse like that. Aurora brings back live singing to what it was meant to be like in the first place.

And it's unusual with "All Is Soft Inside" on the playlist. She wanted to do it for a fan who had her birthday that day, because it's her favorite song. She followed Aurora since the very beginning and been to her shows all over Europe since 2015. You can hear Aurora say Happy Birthday to her before the song. Her drummer didn't know how to play it, so he had to practice all day and learn it before the concert. lol Just shows how much she loves and care about her fans.
