I'm so sad that i don't know any of them :( I've been a kpop fan since 2014 but I think they're underrated because for the amount of groups in korea only a certain are popular or that gets attention, only popular groups in korea get to the international fandom or it's because their company is not one of the well known ones. I realized that I only stan groups that are popular & I think it's time for the underrated groups to shine:) some of these groups have been in the kpop industry for so long but they don't get the recognition they deserve:( I wish more people would see this!

lol 2:11 sunny play, they were so awkward and looks like a dance cover team..are they an official group? most of the group listed look awkward and their voices are kinda weak even the mv are low budget..but they are from unknown and small company so its a start for them just like gfriend but look at them become so big now! its all about differences in concept for example gfriend with innocent powerful concept so its kinda new yet it will capture more people attention..just saying.kbye!

There will always be groups people don't hear about because only bigger companies get attention. There are some smaller ones too but they get the advantage because their group(s) got popular somehow. With kpop it will always be a right place, right time unless you get signed to a larger company.

I found DOROTHY and VARIOUS really interesting and they seem to have such a strong potential to be popular groups. And the LIVE HIGH's choreo caught my eye because it 'suspiciously' resembled the choreography of Gfriend's 'Me Gustas Tu', but then I read that they were Gfriend's sunbae so I chilled lmao

You can kind of see why these groups are unpopular (except maybe Dorothy). Their concepts are either not generally liked by Koreans (Sol-T), outdated (Baba) or their visuals aren't strong enough to catch the attention of male fans. It's a harsh thing to say, sure, but it's the truth. Pretty groups with shallow catchy pop songs are the ones that succeed, that's just how the industry works. Either that, or you have to come from a big company, even then, girl crush concepts do poorly

We need to learn from The Ark; a super talented group which ended up disbanded😢 KPop industry is getting harder and more competing, tho. Surviving the industry is more challenging that debuting. I am really worried for this girl groups because they spend much time to train just to make a debut their mv's might be low budget at first but the more comebacks they could make the more aesthetic the mv can be really sad for people to not recognize them but as time passes by I believe more and more fans would come by and they could reach their goal to be a succesful kpop group,and also not because they came in a low label entertainment does'nt mean they have no chance to be big,just look at bts their entertainment was a low level ent.
