Some fan calls are cringe, creepy and harassing towards the K-pop idols. The most important question is WHY are the callers and calls not being completely screened and vetted? There are too many examples of “fans” being disrespectful to the artists. The idols are most likely very restricted in what they can say in do on camera which makes the situation even more stressful. K-pop companies promote idols to be a mixture of conservative culture but also strong sexual undertones in the music lyrics and choreography.

7:03 This fancall made me FUMING when I first heard it.😡 Like why u gotta tell him this especially at the START of the fancall. That doesn't make sense. Also, felix is such a sweetheart, so this puts him in an awkward position. Also him saying she cheated and that he's used to it!😭💀

It's humiliating and dehumanizing. They should stop these calls or screen them with a warning.

For me the jiwoon fancall I don't see a problem just because he said f**k

The calls need to be monitored so that they can pull the plug on them if necessary. Maybe ban fans if its severe enough. Idols are humans with feelings.

Entertainments need to stop dragging these fancalls, they already served their purpose during covid (fancalls go invented due to covid cause they weren't allowed to do in person fan meetings anymore)

It really does hurt to watch, and how can someone claim to like and appreciate someone and then treat them like they’re not even human like it’s mad weird. That’s why I can’t even blame people for hating kpop fans they do it to themselves. Before even liking kpop I hated it BECAUSE of the fans and assumed everything about it was weird, I never heard good stuff, and even now as someone who now enjoys kpop I’m still disgusted and disappointed by fans.

Some of these people disgust me so much. I think fancalls are not a bad thing because I would imagine the majority of them are respectful and it is a really special treat for most fans to be able to communicate directly with their faves. However, there should be a blacklist of inappropriate fans that's shared between all the companies and I think the idol should be allowed to tell a staff member to blacklist that fan bcuz they felt uncomfortable. Alot of these creeps win multiple fancalls and repeatedly harass and do inappropriate things to make idols uncomfortable just for views on their channels (otherwise why would they make the call public 🤷‍♀️). I've never had a fancall (sadly😔), but from what I understand, the fan has to provide proper photo identification, phone number and email address in order to receive the call so it should be easy enough for staff to track and flag that person from winning in the future. If they are blacklisted then they can no longer win calls and it opens up slots for actual appreciative, respectful fans to win a call. I think if fans knew that they could be blacklisted then they might be more careful with their words and behavior as well, which would hopefully reduce the amount of bad incidents going forward.
