⁠@@martacastillo6272 FYI they don't only do that to Aespa (lip sync), but almost all of their singers (in music shows). The reason is that music show recordings in one appearance can be taken several times (especially in certain parts), SM singers are usually very active during promotions they can carry out promotions every day (in a week or more in a row), besides that SM songs usually have Tones with a very wide range (sometimes very high or low at the same time) that's why SM restricts their idols from singing during performances for the future of their singing career (protecting vocal cords). Actually we can still hear them sing at certain performances or during Encore. (source: the statement that I forgot where to get it) ps: sorry for my bad english.
